Hoot
'n' Howl Farm is one of three farms that makes up Gunbarrel Grower's
Association, which leases Agricultural Open Space land from
Boulder County. We began growing on this land, which is adjacent to our
home, in 2009. We have always gardened - whether it was on a strip
along the alley behind our apartment where we lived when we were first
married or in a big garden to help feed our family of seven. With our
children grown, and having downsized to a smaller house but a larger
property, we have finally realized our dream of making a go of a small
farm. As children of farmers and a veterinarian we were not strangers
to the reality of the hard work and risky business of the farming
lifestyle. But it is as if we've come home and we love it!
